CWA Blue and Green

CWA Blue and Green is an internal guidance offering in Owl, our Vision section. Its focus is “actions under pressure” or the income and cash actions needed in relatively short order because of different kinds of distress.

We divide “actions under pressure” into two categories -

income improvement actions, called Blue and

cash flow from balance sheet actions called Green.

The CWA stands for Conventional Wisdom Actions. These are the lists of categories of actions for the two areas that we believe constitute the “conventional wisdom” menu for taking actions. Somewhere else might display a different list. This is just our view placed here to get organized.
